Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC), has published a job announcement for the recruitment of 39 permanent posts of Sub Inspector (SI) of Excise for Excise Organization, Group-C (Non-Gazetted) under Finance Department, Government of Tripura.

No. of posts: 39 [UR: 20, SC: 06 & ST: 13]
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Science from a recognized University. However, B.E., B.Tech Degree holders are also to be considered in the aforesaid recruitment process.
Desirable: Knowledge in Bengali or Kok-borok.
Other Details of TPSC Recruitment
Scale of pay: Rs.5,700-24,000/- Grade pay of Rs.4,200/- (Now Level-10 of Tripura State Pay Matrix 2018).
Age limit: Up to 40 years as on 14.04.2025. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 (five) years in case of SC/ST/PwDs candidates and Government Servants.
Selection Process: As per recruitment rules, the Selection process will comprise of 02 (two) successive steps: viz- (i) Written Examination for 130 marks (Time allowed 3 hours). (ii) Interview/Personality Test: 20 marks.
Application fee: (i) Rs.200/- for General candidates and Rs.150/- only for ST/SC/BPL card holders’ candidates. (ii) Recruitment fee so deposited, is non-refundable.

How to Apply for TPSC Recruitment?
⏩The Online Application Portal will be available on the Commission’s website from 21.03.2025 to 14.04.2025.
⏩Before applying for the post, an applicant (New User) shall register his/her bio-data particulars through One-Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission’s website, viz. tpsc.tripura.gov. Once an applicant registers his/her particulars, a User ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID. Applicants need to apply for the post using the OTPR User ID through the Commission’s website.
